We have reviewed our procedures so that we are able to welcome you back safely and to stay safe whilst you are here.

We have introduced hand sanitiser units on all entrances of the hotel. We ask all guests to read our safety information and use the touch-less sensor hand sanitiser units on entering and exiting the building.

Our commitment to hygiene: All our rooms are deep cleaned and disinfected before the next guest is due and we are using hospital grade disinfectants ratified by the World Health Organisation. Special attention is given to high-touch items such as door handles, light switches, TV remotes and key fobs. Cushions, bed runners and leaflets have been removed from guest rooms. We are following both government, Public Health England and professional guidelines from Hospitality UK. We have provided additional training for all our staff. For guest peace of mind and staff safety if staying more than one night we will not enter your room. We will provide fresh towels, coffee etc and leave outside your door if required.

Our dining room: We have reduced the tables in our restaurant and public areas. We are working to current guidelines social distancing. Our menus are throw away we have also introduced an online app customers can use for table and room service which is free to download on app store 'Nithsdale Hotel' Currently their is no requirement for guests to wear masks in the hotel however, hotel management have made it policy for our staff to wear masks at all times. This is an additional safety measure we have put in place to protect our guests and our staff.

Our bar: In our bar we are encouraging table service however you can still get served at the bar (but people need to be seated once served) Tables/ seating is cleaned/disinfected once people leave.
